Bilfinger Tebodin Middle East (BTME), the Middle Eastern arm of the global engineering and industrial services provider Bilfinger, has secured two engineering and project management consultancy (PMC) services contract from Abu Dhabi Ports.
According to the company, the contract wins, strengthen Bilfinger Tebodin Middle East’s position in the infrastructure sector in Abu Dhabi and across the UAE.
Marco Van Der Linden, Managing Director of Bilfinger Tebodin Middle East, said that the company has secured the projects based on its “extensive experience, quality, and competitive expertise”.
“The UAE is a key market for us and we welcome the opportunity to further expand our role in the development and enhancement of the infrastructure sector,” added Van Der Linden.
Last year, Bilfinger Tebodin Middle East Egypt inked an engineering master service agreement with the North African nation’s state-owned oil and gas integrated contractor PETROJET.
The strategic engineering framework agreement is an executive development of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by the companies in December 2018.
As part of the deal, Bilfinger Tebodin Middle East will act as a technical and engineering consultancy partner to PETROJET.
